TEDX NEW ENGLAND: MIND + LIFE

Collaborating with one of the largest conference franchises on the planet that promotes Technology, Education and Design? YES PLEASE!

The New England event - which is curated for those who believe in the power of science and technology to change lives - included many “firsts” this year. Among those firsts were the elegant visuals, custom animations and a unique design system provided by Parliament.

The intent of Parliament’s design package was not only to visually enhance the content of each talk, but also play on the interior design aesthetic of this year’s brand new venue - $200 million concert hall Groton Hill Music Center.

The visual representations on the screen integrated beautifully with the space itself, playing on sensibilities of light woods, subtle pastel colors, modern fixtures and parametric structural accents. From full screen imagery to content mortise frameworks…the animations ebbed and flowed between topics, connected the themes of Life and Mind, and provided a stunning backdrop for each presenter.

Parliament’s unique designs, coupled with state the art display technology provided by Disguise and the exceptional acoustics of this world class concert hall, created a powerfully moving experience for all in attendance.
