INVESCO QQQ “Innovation Changes Everything”

Andreas Nilsson II BISCUIT

From Ancient Rome to the American Frontier.… to Bob Ross’s mountainous landscapes of happy little trees, INVESCO takes us on a journey through history via the sharp, comedic lens of Andreas Nilsson.

Shot over two weeks on location in Madrid, the endlessly inventive Nilsson brought his signature blend of spectacle and irreverence to every setup. While the talented Production Design team expertly crafted sets and scenery to root each spot in authentic realism, Parliament was tasked with crafting visuals that not only supported the humor but also maintained historical context and carried the cinematic tone across wildly different worlds.

Throughout the campaign, Parliament also handled environment extensions, interactive effects, and invisible clean-up….again, all designed to elevate the comedy while preserving period detail. The end result was a series of richly cinematic spots, brimming with the humor and beautiful strangeness that marks Andreas’s signature style.

Playful, polished, and full of craft. Exactly how we like it.

Parliament created fully CG Roman crowds and a digital stadium for ‘Caesar’, using high-resolution scans captured on set.

Parliament’s Design team also developed UI which showcased Invesco’s modern innovations— artfully juxtaposing the historical past with the technology of the present.

Parliament’s Design team also developed UI which showcased Invesco’s modern innovations— artfully juxtaposing the historical past with the technology of the present.

‘In ‘Troy,’ the Trojan Horse was built entirely in CG and integrated seamlessly into the live-action plates - another example of Parliament’s tech-forward asset pipeline built around real-world data and practical grounding.

MullenLowe’s concept was sharp and playfully absurd, imagining how the ancient world might have looked if it had today’s slightly ridiculous technology. Andreas Nilsson brought it all to life with his signature blend of wit and spectacle. At Parliament, we had a blast crafting VFX that let Trojan horses get TSA-scanned... Roman senators check smartphones likes... and blending epic scale with modern satire in all the wrong ways, in all the right places.
